Participants of all ages and skill levels are welcome. Awards will be granted based on an absolute
evaluation (similar to the RCM level assessment), and seven participants will receive
special recognition based on a relative evaluation.
Seven Special Awards
1. Yonah Martin – Senator Award (Opportunity to perform with PMYSO)
2. Stella Park – President of PMYSO Award (Opportunity to perform with PMYSO)
3. Anne Kang – Minister of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills (Winners’ Concert)
4. Paul Choi – MLA Burnaby/South Metrotown Award (Winners’ Concert)
5. Tako Van Popta – MP for Langley Township/Fraser Heights Award (Winners’ Concert)
6. Steve Kim – City Councillor, Coquitlam Award
7. Michael Chang – President of Korean Veterans Association Award
Please note for Canadian applicants: Special awards are granted exclusively to those who attend the live audition.
